Ajit and Nalwa House celebrated their House Day on 28th August in the evening. It was graced by our dear Principal Mr Anil Tewari, staff members from Shangri-la and Vincent Hill were present at the function. The programme commenced with the shabad sung beautifully by the school choir, which was followed by an English skit based on the British Television show ‘Mind Your Language’. Thereafter Principal Sir along with other teachers gave away prizes to meritorious as well as sportspersons for their outstanding performance during inter-house events.
The house reports were read by the House captains Ritvik Gupta and Shashank Singhal. Rest of the programme included a Punjabi Comical Skit, a skit performed by the students of class XI and XII. Then next was the highlight of the evening when the teachers danced to a parody. The programme came to an end with a ‘Bhangra’ dance by the senior most class of the school. Principal Sir, in his speech lauded everyone for putting up such a show and contented that the future of any nation is nurtured in schools. This brought an end to the function which was then followed by a scrumptious dinner.
